As a Pro user of CookiePal, you have the ability to customise the languages in which your banner will appear to website visitors. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure available languages, set a default language, and customise content for each language.

Configure Available Languages

1. Access the Settings page by clicking the "Settings" option in the sidebar menu.
2. Within the Banner Settings section, you will find a setting labelled "Available Languages". Here, you will see a list of checkboxes, each representing a language.
3. Tick the checkboxes for the languages you want your banner to support. Once selected, these languages will be available for your visitors and for customisation as well.

Set the Default Language

1. In the Settings page, you will find an option for the Default Language. Clicking this will open a dropdown menu displaying all available languages.
2. Choose the language you wish to set as the default. If the selected default language is not already in your "Available Languages", it will automatically be added to the list.

Customise Content for Each Language

1. To customise content for specific languages, go to the "Customisation" page. You can access this from the sidebar menu.
2. Once on the Customisation page, switch to the "Content" tab. Here, you will find options to edit the banner content for different languages.
3. Use the dropdown menu to choose a language. You can customise unique content for each selected language to ensure it meets the needs of your audience.

Note for Non-Pro Users

If you do not have a Pro plan, you can only edit banner content in English. English is the default language for non-Pro users and cannot be changed. Upgrading to a Pro plan unlocks the ability to manage multiple languages and set a default language of your choice.
