There are some ways to confirm the integration of CookiePal and validate the correct implementation of Google Consent Mode on your website.

Verify with CookiePal

In the CookiePal web app, go to Settings and click the Check button in the Google Consent Mode section. After the verification completes, the result will tell you whether Google Consent Mode is implemented correctly on your website. If any errors are found, refer to the Google Consent Mode Troubleshooting guide.

Alternatively, you can use Enable debug mode to display GCM default status, update status, and timing information directly in the browser console.

Note If the CookiePal banner is not installed on your website, the verification result will not be accurate. Make sure the CookiePal banner is active before starting a verification.

Note If verification through CookiePal fails, check your website in Google Tag Assistant. If Google Tag Assistant finds no problems when opening your website, contact support@cookiepal.io.

Verify with Google Tag Assistant
